Architecture Relevance Check
As part of the Portfolio Governance Process, every initiative undergoes an Architecture Check during the Technical Assessment step.
The Architecture Relevance Check is a lightweight assessment consisting of up to 10 questions. Its purpose is to determine whether an initiative aligns with the CS-CoE Guidelines and Guardrails or whether an exception and a more in-depth Enterprise Architecture review are required.
Based on the responses provided, the assessment supports one of the following outcomes:

Approved / Endorsed – follows the standard path

Approved / Endorsed with conditions

Not endorsed – objections need to be addressed

Escalate to the Architecture Council – a formal, more in-depth review is required
Please answer the questions as accurately and completely as possible. Your responses help ensure that initiatives are reviewed consistently, proportionately, and with the appropriate level of architectural oversight.
